39+2 I thought my water broke

I went in to see my midwife yesterday as I thought my water broke turns out it was discharge but she wasn’t worried at all everything looked normal. She checked to see if I was dilated and nope nothing I’m completely closed 😄 I guess baby doesn’t want to come anytime soon? At first I wanted this baby to come because I am so anxious to meet them. but I had to really think after my appointment and I’d rather baby come at his or her own terms. I’ve had no problems in this pregnancy and I’m not really feeling uncomfortable. Besides “pelvic pain” baby is engaged in the birthing canal which is causing a ton of pressure. That pressure I thought was the contractions but it was false no contractions here. Lol so I got all worked up for nothing and caused my blood pressure to rise but lucky enough it came back down and I was told by my midwife to get some rest. And rest assured he or she will be here soon! My next appointment is on Friday with my O.B so we’ll see if I’m progressing
