Strange blood work.

Hello everyone!

I just recently diagnosed with Pcos and am a bit confused by what my doctor said. First off, I am overweight, but definitely not obese. My doctor called with my blood work and said that she’s on the fence because my male hormones were normal but my female hormones were extremely low. She said my levels weren’t typical with Pcos, but she’s going to go ahead and diagnose me with Pcos. She also said that I do not ovulate, but she wants me to be on Metformin for 6 months before she’ll let me start any fertility treatments. She also said I am pre diabetic, but that also doesn’t make sense because she didn’t do a fasting blood test so of course my blood sugar was a bit High. I can’t wait another 6 months for fertility treatments. My goal was to get pregnant before my husbands 30th in July. I’m just so confused and discouraged. It’s been bad news after bad news lately.
