I’ve had two miscarriages, and I’m farther along in this third pregnancy than ever before. I’m 11 weeks and haven’t gone to the OB yet, since with previous pregnancies we lost the baby and seeing it right before it passed was the worst thing ever! This time around, we wanted to wait to go until after we reached the “safe zone”. My question is, when should I actually go for my first ultrasound, when they can actually do tests and something productive, as opposed to just seeing/hearing the baby and measuring it. I just don’t want to spend money and get my hopes up, until I’m sure that my miscarriage rate is way down! Thanks!!
