baby shower ?????

trying to do a baby shower but I don't know what kind of food to serve ???? any suggestions  mommies ???

I'm having a joint shower with my sister. We're both having boys and out theme is "Boy, it's cold outside!" We're having a hot chocolate bar and doing cold weather food: chili with all the fixings, homemade mac and cheese, meatballs, kielbasa... We're also doing a dessert bar!

We had chicken salad sandwiches, ham and cheese sandwiches, chips, dip, quiche, fruit salad, another kind of side dish. Lemonade, tea and water to drink. And of course cake and cupcakes to finish it all off.

The two showers thrown for me were brunch showers. They served quiche, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, fruit, etc. if you’re doing an afternoon shower, do appetizer type foods (even quiche work!) and desserts.
