Advice Needed

On my 8th month TTC & managed to wait out the dreaded 2ww for what I think was AF 2 days late. After 1 day late, I took a test and got another BFN. I typically have a visit from AF for abt 5-6 days at a pretty heavy flow (sorry TMI). However, this time around AF only showed up for abt 1.5 days and only the 1 day being my "normal" flow. Don't think it was implantation bleeding due to color and amount. I'm typically pretty regular and was hoping this would be our month...even thought I had some different early pregnancy symptoms, but I don't know if it's all just wishful thinking. Do I test again or assume this was an off cycle month?
