Why isn’t there like a sometimes or most of the time option?

I go down almost every time we have sex but he will do it only once ever 6 months or so. He hasn’t said why or that he doesn’t like it. I am over cautious to make sure that it is fresh all the time and clean. Any suggestions on how to get him to do it more. Fyi I get off super fast so its not like he has to be there for long.
