I don't know about anyone else but I am NOT a fan of how baby and parenting stuff always seems to have this underlying message of, "You and your baby NEED this product if you want to call yourself a good parent." or maybe I'm just paranoid and cynical. We live in a smaller house and have a fairly minimalist lifestyle. Currently I've just been thinking ahead and trying to plan out our nursery and what may be worth putting on a registry. What are the most useful (and useless) items out in the first time mom market you have found? Did you buy something you thought was a need and later regret it? What about something you got later and wish you had bought sooner?
