When to announce

5 weeks post DPO. HCG level 1215. Ultrasound next week. When is the right time to announce it to immediate family ? Doctor says to wait another week although she has confirmed pregnancy. But i cant wait ..........

I’m 5+3, first ultrasound in one week. We already told my parents, my best friend, my MIL, and my grandma. We decided to tell the people who we would tell no matter what, even if something bad happened right away. Everyone else, we are waiting til 12-13 weeks.

I’m 4+6 today and we’ve already told his family and mine... we’re not announcing to the whole world but we wanted the people closest to us to be able to share our excitement.

I got my positive last weds and I’m waiting until mid March. I am dreading all the tears from my Mom. HaHa! Annoying. For now I’m just enjoying the secret between my husband and I.

There’s no right or wrong for that. Just whenever you feel comfortable. 
I fb announced my last by 5 weeks. I was already puking and falling asleep all the time. It’s not worth trying to hide that. Plus I wouldn’t want to hide it if we did deal with miscarriage. I have friends that waited months to share though. It’s all up to what makes you happy.

We waited until after my first apt to tell family. We wanted to make sure everything was ok and baby appeared healthy

You should announce it whenever you feel comfortable. I announced it at approximately six weeks and sadly a few days ago at eight weeks with the babies heart stopped beating. And now it's really sad telling everyone the news.if I do get pregnant again most likely I think I will wait until on three months to announce it because usually that's when you're in the clear

For my first it was straight away. For my seconds we waited till 13-14 weeks. Currently ttc our 3rd and we’re thinking we’re not going to announce it to 15 weeks we we fall pregnant.
