I am 8 weeks and 5 days pregnant, and I have been having a bad acid reflux since last week. I've taken a couple of Tums antacid (Calcium Carbonate) when I am having hypee acidity. My husband texted our OB earlier to confirm if it is safe to take during pregnancy. (As it is stated in Tums website that they are safe). however, our OB responded to hold Calcium supplements for now. But we haven't told her that I have taken some already last week. We're too embarrassed to confess that we took medication without even consulting her. Any advice?
