So I don’t know where to post this. But I’m kind of upset. We went for our 6month checkup they weighed her, took her in, nurse asked a few questions and asked if I wanted the flu shot. I said “NO”. So later dr comes asks how’s the baby and is she doing this and that. Everything was fine. Nurse comes back in says “lay the baby down” I said “can I hold her to comfort her” she said “no she’s getting 4 shots today” I was pretty upset, I wasn’t thinking anything of the shots just thought it was her normal monthly shots that are needed. So she gave them to my baby. Couldn’t grab her. Alice was just there laying down crying... shots were on her legs. Don’t understand why I couldn’t hold her... nurse leaves. I comfort my baby. Dr comes in and says “ we gave your baby the flu shot I noticed on the post it you had said no, why did you say no?” I said “we just got over the flu a week ago and I’ve just heard bad things about it. I really didn’t want to give it to her” he said “ oh well it’s a necessary shot so I went ahead and gave it to her” I didn’t say anything else after that. I was just so upset. I had said no... so a week later guess who’s sick? She’s usually a happy baby even when she’s sick but this time she’s screaming to the top of her lungs. She has a high fever, 104.2, she’s vomiting 4 times a day, has only drank about 10 oz of milk a day, cough, runny nose, watery eyes.... took her back in he said there’s nothing we can do but let it pass... I got the shot for nothing. Idk what to do just had to let it out...

Update: Thank you guys. I will be switching providers and I do believe the shot made her sick. This is day 6! With high fevers cough runny stuffy nose. I’ve been doing the moltrin and Tylenol switch off and it reduces it to 101 I know some don’t believe it makes you sick but my daughter is so weak I’ve NEVER seen her like this and she has gotten the flu before. After the shot she’s ten times worse. Maybe it reacted to her body differently... I won’t be able to sue because I don’t have the funds. I would definitely do it. Just to prove a point. I said no. The nurse wrote it down. She heard me she knew what those shots were I didn’t. And knowing I said no she still gave it. I don’t know if it was a mistake or if it was purposely done. For those saying not to be “ sue happy “ it’s MY DAUGHTER if this was purposely done by her doctor who was supposed to be someone I trusted wouldn’t you want something to be done?... anyways I would love prayers and wishes for my daughter to get better I’m so scared... thank you this was her yesterday ... they diagnosed her with flu for sure but can’t do anything about it
