Wtf is this big lump on top of my daith piercing? I got it done like 22/12/17 so its not that old but I try to keep it clean. I am guilty of fiddling and turning the ring round, is this just a result of doing that without washing my hands? What would you guys recommend for getting rid of it as its hard and painful to the touch. Anyone else had loads of problems with their daith? Thanks!

It's just scarring (NOT keloids), they'll go away after awhile.

I get them and I don’t even have piercings. They go away

I had that after my industrial. Piercer said to use witch hazel on it. Got rid of it in just a couple days 👍🏻

It’s hypertrophic scarring. & it’s not gonna go away on it’s on without the proper care. You may need to try another earring or you should look into “no pull disks.”

also not cleaning it enough, use clear unscented liquid hand soap and use an q-tip to remove the soap an water

I had the same when I got my belly button pierced. It popped a few times but went away after some time. I also used salt water as the solution to keep my piercing clean everyday
