PUPPP RASH?

Has anyone had the PUPPP rash really bad? The rash is spreading all over my body and I’m so itchy! What did you guys use to help it? I’ve tried Benadryl itch cream that ob suggested but it’s not working. I called the office and a nurse told me to try more of a steroid itch cream but at my last appointment my ob told me not to use that? I’m so lost and I don’t know what else to use. I can’t stop itching so I’m digging myself up really bad. PLEASE HELP!

I’ve just recently got my PUPPP under control- here’s what has worked for me:
I wear loose fitting cotton clothes as much as possible to let my skin breathe.
In the morning and evening I take room temperature showers and use Grandpa’s Pine Tar soap on the affected areas. I lather it on the rash and then let it stay on for a couple minutes before rinsing it off and I do that 2 or 3 times each shower. I get the soap from whole foods but I’m sure it’s on amazon too. 
After the showers I pat dry- do not rub the towel on you! It makes it way worse. I use hydrocortisone 1% anti itch with aloe cream on the affected areas after showering. My high risk OB recommended it and it seriously helped. And on areas that are healing or dry but not quite affected I use aloe sunburn gel on it for a cooling effect.
And at home in the evening I wear men’s boxers several sizes too large and men’s undershirts also several sizes too large. That way my skin doesn’t touch the couch fibers and such but it feels like I’m naked.
If you must itch, try to tap and pat rather than scratch. My dermatologist told me scratching will make it spread.

Tbh a lot of people were telling me about pine tar soap but it made it worse it spread to my legs and between my thighs 😪 so tbh it didn’t work and it smells bad

I’ve been using Aveeno oat meal bath but the baby one and also Aveeno body wash itch relieve one and some hydrocortisone 1% with aloe Walgreens brand when it itches
