How long were you TTC before your doctor ran tests? I went to my OBGYN yesterday because I have irregular cycles since I got off of birth control over a year ago. My husband and I have only been actively TTC for 4 months. I'm 26. He now wants blood work, a sperm analysis and an HSG. He said he wants to make sure everything is working properly before he puts me on clomid. I'm all about the clomid to regulate ovulation but surprised he is doing all of this just 4 months in ttc. I'm concerned he may think I've been ttc since I got off birth control over a year ago and wasn't fully listening. I don't want to say anything because I'm on board for clomid but I feel like I'm cheating. Maybe its not unheard of to put people on clomid for irregular cycles and this is just standard?? How soon did your doctor start doing tests? Should I say something?
