Pregnancy after miscarriage

I'm just seeking a little advice.. I had a miscarriage back in April and now me and my partner are back to trying again. I've read so many stories about women falling pregnant without having their first period after the miscarriage (so lucky!!) obviously this wasn't the case for me. I'm just wondering if anyone has any stories about their experiences after miscarriage as I'm so scared of another pregnancy. I know every body is different but a little knowledge doesn't harm!
