How Many Chances Have You Given Ur Bf When He’s Messed Up?

In case u don’t understand the question, I’m asking how many chances you’ve given your partner after they do something and ur almost on the verge of breaking up w them. Also comment!! I’d like to hear what bad things have happened in ur relationship that cause a fight.

Well, everybody messes up. So it depends n the mistake. My bf and I don’t fight all the time, but when we do it can get pretty heated. I have a huge thing against lying, most people do. But it’s like kinda a deal breaker for me because I have major trust issues. One time my bf said he couldn’t hang out cause he was tired, but ended up hanging out with his buddy. I wouldn’t have been upset, except that he lied when I asked him what he was up to that night. The only reason I found out is cause his friend was like “yeah so last night we blah blah blah” and I was like “um...” it caused a huge fight. Just the fact that he felt the need to actually lie about it. But i forgave him and he’s always extremely honest with me about what he’s doing and if he wants to go hang out with friends, he tells me instead of making up an excuse as to why he can’t see me. I’m willing to forgive most things if it can be talked and sorted out. The one thing that I would definitely break up with someone besides actually kissing or sleeping with someone else, is if they were blatantly sexually flirting with another girl, in text or in person. Or sending/exchanging nudes from another girl, asking a girl for nudes, anything like that. I’m fine with porn, but any chat rooms or whatever is considered cheating to me. And that’s one thing I know I wouldn’t be able to bounce back from.

a lot. I wouldn't say I was really considering leaving tho, but the thought had been in the back of my head. he lied to me for many, many years and many, many times to cover up a drug addiction. I know, some people think it's a choice but I do see it as a sickness. I know he wants to quit, but he really struggles with it alot. as far as I know, he is finally being honest with me about it (within the last 6 months). Hopefully the honesty continues and he finally finds the strength to recover.
