IUD's PLEASE READ (long post)
Okay so I've been reading about the SKYLA & MIRENA. PLEASE HELP AS BEST AS U CAN! I WANT INFORMATION TO GO TO MY GYNO WITH!!!

I read that with these IUD's they're placed in the uterus.
-----Does that mean that the hormones don't go through the bloodstream like the pill and shot would?
-----Does that mean infection is more likely?
----- Is insertion of the IUD painful? How long does it take to be inserted?

I am bipolar which is a mood disorder. Hormones and I don't always get along. Am on Lo Loestrin Fe (pill) looking to come off it due to combined hormones.
-----Skyla and Mirena are estrogen free.
------- Does that mean that mood swings are less likely? Less severe?

Now if you don't mind can you tell me also your experiences with either or both of Skyla and Mirena.

Enlarged breasts?
Hair fall out?
Pain?
