Cysts?

So two days ago, I was at work, and I got a stabbing pain in my abdomen. I passed it off as nothing, until another sharp pain sent me running to the bathroom to vomit.

After this cycle repeated about 4-5 times, I called my OBGYN (my work is horrible about illness/time off). They told me to rush to their office (about 45 minutes away) and they would work me in. Long story short, I had at least 5 cysts on my right ovary, several of which had burst, presumably that day. I'm on three antibiotics to prevent infection now.

I've had a Mirena coil for a month and a half now, and my doctor said it might have caused my cysts. Has anyone else been through this? Did it keep happening? Did anything help? I'm kind of freaked out.
