Don’t be afraid to talk about it

I just wanted to share this: I’m on a business trip this week, but just had a missed miscarriage. Had to wait until the day before I left to find out if I was coming.

Yesterday I was talking to a male co-worker about how I didn’t even know if I was coming until Monday, he seemed concerned so I told him what was going on. He opened up and told me that they’ve been TTC for a year now and how upset they were because this is her fertile window but he’s here. He thanked me for being open about it because no one ever talks about this stuff and he wishes hey would. I don’t even know this guy that well, but it was a sad, but nice point in my week.

So if you feel comfortable talking about it, don’t worry what others will think! Sending lots of happy thoughts wherever you are in he world today. 💗
