Has anyone gotten a membrane sweep done? If so, did it work?

I’m 39+4 and just got a membrane sweep. I’m hoping I go into labor in the next few days. I would love to know your experience with this.

Membrane sweep Monday afternoon, water broke Monday night. Baby come Tuesday morning at 11:30 AM lol

I had a sweep in Wednesday (41:1), then another one on Friday (41:3) at 3:30pm. my waters broke straight after work contractions straight away. Baby born 3:30am Saturday morning

I had two, one at 39 weeks and another at 40 weeks, had to be induced at 41 weeks, hopefully it works for you!

My obgyn said it statistically works 1 in 7 women... basically it’s like the last straw, so if you’re right at the tipping point of going into labor and have one, it’ll put your into labor, but if your body and the baby aren’t ready then nothing will happen

I had two a week apart and neither worked. I was 3cm and 80% effaced for 3weeks before my water finally broke.
