Possible miscarriage

I was supposed to be 7 weeks today. I woke up with pretty heavy bleeding and scheduled a doc appointment. The ultrasound showed a gestational sac but no fetal pole or heartbeat, and the doctor suspected I was about 5 weeks according to what the ultrasound displayed. He said he couldn’t confirm if I was miscarrying until blood work comes back. I’m trying to relax but I’m so worried. TMI but my blood is mucusy and it’s hard to stay calm. Anyone have any experience or suggestions?
