Leaking something

I had a gush that soaked through my jeans at lunch. After that I put on a pad and it was wet too I had to change it so I came to L&D; to make sure my water hadn't leaked the test says it's not so could cervical fluid soak through jeans? And a pad? Just confused they are still monitoring me I am 38+2
