How early can you hear baby’s heart on a Doppler at home?

I thought I could hear my baby’s heart beating on a Doppler I bought from Amazon but my husband is arguing with me that it’s my heartbeat! But it’s in my uterus and only on the right side that I can hear it! I’m almost 10 weeks.... how early did you hear your baby’s heartbeat at home?

I heard my baby’s heartbeat today on my Doppler, I’m 9 weeks and 6 days. It’s possible, just have to be patient and search slowly. If you’re not sure about the sound check out videos on YouTube, that should help tell the difference between your heart beat and the baby’s.

If you have an anterior placenta expect it to be later, but I think the average time is between 10-16 weeks. Earlier it’s more than likely your own or likely you won’t find it and freak out. Baby still has so much room to hide so if you don’t find it for a while don’t freak out!!
