am I okay to drink a few beers?

my dr prescribed me metronidazole for a bacterial infection (down there obv) and they gave me a package with one pink pill for a yeast infection I started taking them today... was wondering if I go to have a few beers tonight would do harm??

Absolutely NOT! I've been working in pharmacy for 14 years. One of the  first things your doctor and pharmacist should have told you is to not mix those two. Even cough syrup or mouthwash- anything that has any form of alcohol in it can and will make you violently ill. If you received the correct information when picking up your prescription, it should be written in the literature. It's one or the other. Clear your infection and don't drink for at least 24 hours after your last dose, or drink and wait to start your antibiotic.

I have the same prescription and it clearly states not to drink any alcohol 24-72 hours after taking it or before

It’s not recommended. I stay away from it when I have medications for that.
