my doctor said stress can't cause you to miscarry.

From my understanding it would have to be an extreme level of stress; family death, major financial burden, etc. Daily stressors more than likely will not cause a miscarriage.

with my second kiddo shes 17 now but when I was pregnant their dad's mom had cancer and was dying, we were broke, she was our only emotional support, my kids dad wasn't handling well drinking all the time out at bars til 2am we were getting into screaming matches almost everyday of the week. he was very abusive and he was cheating on me. if that wasn't stress I don't know what would be but I carried her full term. she's an awesome 17 year old now. So I think the stress would have to be paired with some medical issue for miscarriage to happen.

miscarriage is because the embryo isn't viable due to chromosomal issues, implantation issues, literally like it's a "bad egg" that can't develop further.
