What to call grandparents?
Growing up I always referred to my grandparents as grandma and grandpa "last name" and I know my parents want to be called the same and this will be their first grandchild but my husbands parents already have a lot of grandkids and they all call them grandma and grandpa "first name".
I'm probably overthinking it but would it be weird if our child called them by that different format? I don't call my parents or in laws by their first name I don't really want my kids to either but I don't want to offend my in laws by having my child use a more formal version with their last name.
