I want a rose on my thumb not this exact picture but I do want one like it with less shading in the rose.

Be careful with tattoos this detailed and that small at the same time- over time the ink will spread slightly over your skin and in 10-20 years that rose will look like a faded black ball on a stick. Tattoos that have a lot of detail or line work should have a minimum size and any experienced and reputable artist will tell you that. Just a heads up!

Completely depends on where you go. And then you have to consider upkeep costs. Hand tattoos fade notoriously fast, and are known to become smudged in appearance and have leaked lines, so this would especially become a problem with a tattoo with so much black in it. It’s because the skin on your hands regenerates much faster than other parts of the body, and obviously experience more movement. So you may be dishing out more money over the years to cover the tattoo up, get it removed, Or if it isn’t too bad, you’ll need to get it touched up every so often as it continuously fades.
Basically I don’t suggest hand tattoos as a great idea 🤷‍♂️
