Ingrown? What is that sore bump

I am.27 weeks and I normally get a Brazilian wax done and I just recently noticed a bump on the top of my vaginal area and it's sore and when i touch it but my esthetian says it's an ingrown  but I have never seen or had anything like that before anyone else experience something similar and what could it be and am I over reacting.

I get them often. It's not a big deal. Once they go down a bit, the esthetician can get out the ingrown. Or you can do it yourself. It will eventually go all the way down and heal itself.

I get ingrowns all the time!! It sucks! Mine get infected easily too. Usually a bit of neosporin on a bandaid fixes mine in a couple days.

Maybe you can ask the estetician about exfoliating? I shave my bikini area still at 36 weeks. I always exfoliated before shaving (once a week) and haven't had an ingrown hair since
