Kissing Your Son on the lips as his father?

I am curious to know what my fellas think about this. As a baby all the way into teenage hood and so forth. Is this an acceptable act? Everyone is different as i saw Tom Brady (NFL Quarterback) kiss his son and his father kisses him. I find this very interesting and would like feedback on it because i think it’s a very good topic. Is this weird or normal?

kissing any family member on the lips is not weird or in any way sexual at all. different families have different boundaries and that's completely fine

Maybe I’m bias because my dad kissed all of us on the lips even in adulthood. (I have two older brothers) I mean we are his children, I don’t see why it would be considered sexual.

I don’t kiss my son on the lips but that’s just my personal choice I see nothing wrong at all a father kissing his son. There’s times where me and son are playing around and I will “steal a bunch of kisses” and he’s nine. I think once he hits the teenage years that’ll be gone.

I grew up in a very unaffectionate family we barely hugged. I personally think its strange for even the mom to kiss her children on the lips but that is how I was raised. I know people do this and it doesn't bother me its just a different way of showing that you love them. Growing up I didn't feel unloved either cause there are different ways of showing that you love them. My grandma showed me how to bake, and now I bake for people I love or care about.

My personal opinion, but I don’t agree with kissing a child on the lips whether that’s the father or the mother. This is just because I feel the lips should be kept for a relationship only. But that’s just my opinion.

I don’t think there’s a problem with it but it seemed weird and uncomfortable when his kid wiped his mouth both times he kissed him as if he didn’t like it or he didn’t want to do it but he’s a boy and he might be at that age where it’s not cool to kiss dad on the lips 🤷🏽‍♀️

If your intentions are pure there shouldn’t be a problem. When he grows up it will probably stop more but sometimes it’s really just cuz some families are like that really lovie in that way. You’re his daddy there shouldn’t be a problem. If you feel like there’s something wrong with it  or it just makes you uncomfortable kiss his cheek instead.
