False negative?

I took a home pregnancy test yesterday morning and the test came back negative, yet, as of today, I am 3 days late.  Could I have had a false negative?

Mine didn't start to show a line until I was a week late which was weird because with my first it showed a dark positive one day after my missed period. Test again in a few days.

I had 3 false tests and even had a spotting for a day with my youngest I was about 6 weeks when I got a positive

Totally possible!! I took 4 home pregnancy tests over a period of 2 months because I was late and so sick. I finally went to the dr. Cuz I was so sick and said something is wrong. They did an ultra sound to look for a cyst and found a 9-week old baby in there. It's healthy and my levels are good. Have no idea why I got so many negatives!
