Once a cheater .. always a cheater?

Me and my bf been together for 3trs. We hit a rocky rocky road for about a yr (him cheating) whrn he went away for school. He hasnt cheated since (i see the change; &i check everything) but im still not over it. Is it possible for men to change and actually stop cheating?

It is. But it's also possible to be so hurt by it you're never able to get over it :(

If you're not over it and are still paranoid, whether he is or is t cheating that's still not A relationship you want to be in. Trust is everything

I don't know if it's possible for a man too but I cheated on my ex when I was 16 and I'm 21 now and never cheated again or thought about it. I been with a man in the army and stayed faithful ans my bf now so it's possible in girls maybe in guys maybe not depending on the man

I was with my ex husband for 5 years. He cheated on me and his ex wife before me. He cheated on me and it created so much insecurities and trust issues. Our relationship never healed from it. Things would be good for a while and then just hit rock bottom. I'm thankful for what I learned from that marriage. It for sure has help me have a stronger relationship with my boyfriend now. I can only speak for myself. Once that trust is broken it will never be the same. I was constantly checking his phone when he wasn't looking and emails when he wasn't home. It drove me nuts. I'm so happy to have that all behind me now.

It all IMO depends on the person, some will never cheat again, while others will never stop.

Everyone is different. My ex will always be a cheater. He cheated on me for 6 years with multiple women. I finally left. His new gf have the same problem with him. But I cannot speak for all men.

I am going through the same thing but we have a 3 year old also. We went through heck fought all the time. He talked to some  girl  .  In the parking lot for over 3 hoursn he came in blew up bad...... he walked all the way to her house they had sex I both has feelings for each other  but him be open and honest with me then I talked to b her on the phone. We both try harder than we ever have and we have become closer.  Show him love be there for him believe I knoe it's very hard. Good luck...

It is possible for them to change. Found out in November that my husband was having an affair for 8 months with a co worker. I was DEVASTATED! through counseling, hard work and a VERY helpful support group I now admin on Facebook, we are doing amazing. The trust is growing and we are expecting our second little baby!

My man used to cheat on his ex all the time but i made sure to tell him that if he wants to be with me he has to drop them hoes for good! N he did n now we're together for 3 really beautiful years.
