How does everyone else handle nausea/food aversions?

Jordyn

I’m really struggling with nausea (no vomiting) and can’t stand the idea of basically any food. Does anyone have any tricks or secrets to help? I’m going to try the B6/Unisom and see how that helps. I really want to make sure I’m eating healthy as well.

😂 I think you’re right! It definitely helped me during my first trimester. It was filling and refreshing!

Omg thank you! I made a smoothie as soon as I saw this comment, and I’m pretty sure his is what angels taste like.

I found eating cold food helped with my nausea like fruit, salads, smoothies. It was some experimenting. Eat smaller meals or snacks. I would take a few bites of something and then be full or disgusted by it. Just eat what you can at this point weather it's healthy or not.

I’ve heard great things about the B6/unisom... personally I had such horrible HG until about 24 wks it didn’t help me..... however my dr had told me to just eat what I could at that point and to worry about eating healthier once the sickness was gone.... it’s better to eat what you can keep down than to force yourself to eat well rounded meals and end up getting sick from it....
