Fertility Gift

I have literally just balled my eyes out. 😭

My husband walks in from work with a gift from a colleague that I personally have never met.

Out of this beautiful paper comes a stone elephant carrying a little baby elephant inside.

On his colleagues travels to India - he sought out this beautiful gift for us and a local woman blessed it to wish us good fertility and hopefully to welcome a beautiful baby soon.

In 2017 we suffered from three miscarriages including one at 11.5 weeks.

I didn’t think my husband talked about it at work. In fact, I didn’t think he really ever wanted to talk about it.

But what thoughtful friends, what thoughtful people he works with. Kindness goes such a long way and this beautiful gift takes pride of place on our fireplace.

UPDATE: so it’s the 09th of Feb and AF is due in a few days, I’ve taken a couple of cheapie tests but nothing there as of yet. I’m going to count this gift as a blessing for next month and I am hoping I can get a March BFP! ❤️

UPDATE 2: ok, getting freaked out - made scrambled eggs.....in my 34 years I’ve never cracked a double yolk 😂 my husband said ‘ohhhh that’s good luck that is’👀

UPDATE 3: so af has caught me today - got my regular pre-af pink spotting. But then I didn’t get this gift until after we baby danced like crazy - so......here’s to a MARCH BFP! Come on ladies, we can do it 😘
