Invites for baby shower?

Looking at getting these but torn on e-vites or old school paper invites....

Paper!! So much more classy! I recently received an evite to a baby shower through my fiancé (she didn’t even bother to get MY email) and I couldn’t let it go. If you’re registering for gifts and want people to buy you potentially expensive items then more effort should be made. And definitely send out thank yous! ☺️☺️

A lot of the older members of my SO’s family don’t use email so e-vites wouldn’t have worked.

We’re doing both.
My generation is all about electronic documents (especially because my friends work in tech), but older family members need paper invites mailed to them (they consider any other form of invite as tacky🙄)

Depends on who you’re inviting. My MIL is old school and doesn’t have an email but if she just got a verbal or text message invite for a party/shower she wouldn’t come. I’m low key I normally wouldn’t care unless if wasn’t someone I knew long or well and it seemed like my invite was an after thought.

So I had 2 showers. The one that was done by email did not have as many people because a lot of people never received. The other shower I had was paper invites. Everyone responded except 1 person. She’s flaky like that though 🤷🏻‍♀️ I will always do paper!
