5w6d ultrasound??

Question

I'm going in for my appointment today if they do a transvaginal ultrasound would they be able to see if I would be having twins this early? Sorry if dumb question

We saw our twins clearly at exactly 6 weeks so I cant imagine one day making a difference. This is what we saw- 2 yolk sacs in 1 gestational sac (identical twins):

We also saw ours at 6 weeks exactly. Ours are di/di so they are easier to spot early.

I’m 6 weeks and 5 days and had an ultrasound today. We could see the twins (non-identical) and hear their heartbeats.
