My last 3 weeks.. Some good some bad. (Long post)
So this is a really long post... Okay... so I found out 3 weeks ago I was/am pregnant. Both my husband and I were excited! My doctor estimated we were 4 weeks. A few days passed and I start to spot/bleed. Went to the ER (on a Friday) and was told I could possibly have a miscarriage fue to low hcg levels. Went again the the next day cause I was bleeding some more but with some clots. Worst two days ever. Went to see my doctor for a follow-up a couple days later and she pretty much confirms that I will have a miscarriage and that I would know when it happens... I've been stressed, upset and angry ever since I found out. To top it off I had to take my 15 month old to the ER because he came home from daycare with what seemed like pink eye cause they were watery and had green/yellow crusties. Found out he has the Flu instead (What a great week! Right?! 🙄😔) Went home with medicine. Did a follow up for him a couple days later and he still has the Flu but this time his pediatrician says he might have pneumonia too. Went home again with more medicine. The next day he had a fever of 104.5 and his breathing was rather fast even when he was resting so I took him to the ER again. Doctors ended up putting him on IV and a breathing oxygen. Y'all.. that was the most heartbreaking thing to see and go through. We couldn't stay there because they didn't have an PICU so they transferred us to a children's hospital through helicopter. While we were there they ran some test to make sure he didn't have anything else... Well.. He did. They said he had two types of Influenza A, pneumonia and HMPV (Human metapneumorvis) My son stayed in there for a whole week. It's been 3 days since we got home and he is doing so so much better!! He unfortunately still has the flu, but he is his normal self again. On the other hand... I'm still pregnant... 7 weeks 5 days. And I'm starting to wonder... am i still going to have a miscarriage? Because if I am then this isn't fair 😔😔
