Well I'm out for a while

Got a faint positive hpt 3 days ago with every symptom you can think of. Started cramping yesterday and then very heavy bleeding last night. I thought it was just af and the test was faulty(it has happened to me a few times in the past). Went to the doctors today and she said it was a miscarriage. She told me to avoid trying to get pregnant for a few months to minimize the chances of another mc. Super bummed and trying not to think about the "could have beens"
