3D / 4D ultrasound time & risk?

Hello ladies. I'm considering getting a 3d ultrasound done. I'm currently about 26 weeks pregnant. At how many weeks is it best to do that? Are there any known risks associated with this procedure and should be avoided according to any doctors?

I have my 3D ultra sound Friday. I'll be almost 26 weeks. I just know they say the best time is between 26-30 weeks because they're not all squished they still have some room. As far as them being harmful I don't believe one 3D ultra sound will harm your baby.

They suggest around 28-32 weeks. Some people will argue the waves are bad for the baby but they are sound waves, which don't harm your little one.
