Blood Work and Ultrasound *update*

Kristen • 1st Baby Girl due January 22, 2020!

I am writing this in hopes that maybe my story will reach someone in the same boat...I am 23 years old. April 4, 2017 I went off my birth control. Over the next two weeks I gained 20 pounds. On April 22, 2017 I get married. My cycles had been normal on BC (the reason I was on it, I do have ovarian cysts diagnosed @ 11 years old). My weight had also been the same for 6 years. In June 2017 I didn't have a period. This happened every other month (missed August, October, December). My cycles also got farther apart going from 30 days to 60, to 69, to 70, and now it's going on 75 days since my last period. The last month I have really tried getting those 20 pounds back off with lifestyle changes (healthier diet and more activity) and found out while my husband has lost 10 pounds, I have gained 7. We have been TTC but it is almost impossible to tell if or when I am ovulating. I went to the OB/GYN yesterday and had blood work done and I am scheduled for an ultrasound on Monday Feb 12. This journey has been long and hard. I have anxiety and depression and this is only making things worse. My husband and I are just praying for answers, no matter what they are. I will update on thus post about test results in case there are other lovely ladies out there suffering.

*****UPDATE***** I finally got the test results back. The GYN said that my bloodwork showed that I was not ovulating at all and she can't tell how long it's been since I have or if I've ever have. The ultrasound showed that my ovaries and uterus have not changed since the last ultrasound I had a year ago. She suggested that I take Pregnitude. I posted a picture above. I found it at Walgreens. It is supposed to promote ovulation and menstruation. I started taking it February 21. I pray that there will be results soon but as with all things, it will take time. I have another appointment at the beginning of April. We are hoping to see improvement by then.
