Possible uterus stretch

So I’m having a lot of pain on my left side (No blood and general cramps). I’m 8 weeks and I had an ultra sound at 4 weeks and 4 days. they said everything was forming and other than that they gave a good bill of health. Is it possible to have an ectopic pregnancy if they said I was good the first appointment?
