GENDER REVEAL IDEAS FOR DAD

Hey so I have a dilemma. My next ultrasound I hope to find out the gender however I leave for Houston that afternoon (We live about 4 hours away). That next day I'll be on a plane to Arizona to go visit my family for my birthday. Sadly my fiance has to stay home and work, but I am super excited to just have time with my mom alone. We plan to shop for baby while I'm there so I really need to know the gender before I go. The rule was though that we would find out together.. If he comes to the ultrasound we still wanted to do a reveal with each other... Any ideas or tips to have a surprise? I am also thinking about setting up a box for each of us and finding out in a video chat together since I'll be at the hotel. Any ideas? I have a friend or two who would be willing to help I just need to find a way I want to do it.
