Please Help!! Any opinions welcome!
My doctor what to perform a d&c but I'm only 5 weeks 3 days along?I went in for my first visit to my OBGYN on Wednesday 6/25 when I had first calculated my due date, I was 7 weeks 5 days along. The doctor performed an ultrasound but nothing came out except an empty sack he scheduled me for an appointment week later. On the weekend I began spotting pink then dark brown so first thing Monday (6/30) morning I set up an appointment for later that afternoon. When I was there at the doctors office I had told the nurse that I was off on my LMP and that I was only 5 weeks 1 day along. She said she noted that on my chart. When the doctor came in he took an ultrasound and told me that my sack was still empty and that a D&C would need to be performed tomorrow! I was heartbroken! As I walked out of the doctors office into the nurses office the nurse asked me if I was comfortable with the doctor's decision I told her I had some doubts, she told me that she thought it was too early to see something and recommended I wait at least 10 days to repeat an ultrasound and then make my decision of the D&C! She told me 5 Weeks Is Way too early, I have my hopes up and I am praying to God that something is there next week but I don't know has anybody else had this before?
Oh yeah the dr said my HCG levels are around 3,000.
