I will say that I got a FAKE ergo as a gift. Beware of amazon. I called ergo about a missing part... They were able to discern it was a phony! I guess there's a whole black market for fake high-end baby gear (also got a phony Little Giraffe blanket). So make sure to buy it from an authorized retailer.

I love my ergo! When my daughter was younger I carried her in the front and then as she got heavier I switched her around to the back. It's a little challenging to get a baby on your back without help but I feel like that would be an issue no matter which carried you went with. I find the ergo to be super comfortable though and it seems to support baby way better then the bjorn.

Ergo is wonderful when they are younger. When they get older it seems too small. I used a ergo at first and now I use a kinderpack

I HATED my Bjorn!! It took two people to put a baby in it and it was hot, bulky and uncomfortable for me and baby. I'm getting a Boba or Moby with this 2nd kid!!!

Ergo or Tula. Tula has standard and toddler size options. I have both carriers and use the ergo with newborn and when they are smaller and then a toddler tula for my 35 lb 1 year old. The baby bjorn does not have the correct support for the babies hips. Carriers should cover from the back of one knee to the back of the other knee.
