Formula just as good as breast milk?

I don't believe so... BUT now n' days they're making formula as nutritionally close to breast milk as possible. Let's just say it's improved from what it was like 30 years ago.

Breastmilk is ideal for baby, I'm sure everyone knows that. But formula is a great option to mothers who can't or don't want to breastfeed.

No, they are not the same. The baby cannot get antibodies from formula. Also, as the child grows the breastmilk content changes to meet the needs of the child. Breastmilk is FREE and not 30$ a can! You dont have to carry bottles, water, formula  and warm it up while out in public.. just nurse your baby, so simple.. always ready to go and the correct temperature. I am still breastfeeding our 14 month old son and will continue to do so until he is ready to quit. The bonding experience with breastfeeding is amazing. I understand some mamas can't breastfed.. I would suggest donor breastmilk for atleast a few weeks before using formula.

Every medical organization out there will tell you that breast milk is the best nutritionally. There is really no comparison.

My son had a hard time latching even with multiple people helping. In the hospital we had help. I had a nurse/consultant come to my house to help. Went to my Drs office and she tried to help. Then I got a staph infection, and an infected/blocked duct and needed to stop breast feeding. I was also starting to hate my son. I knew that wasn't normal so everything had to change. My son was put on formula, I went on antibiotics & antidepressants. It took about 2 weeks for us both to feel better. So after about 2 months of everything and trying we had to stop. I would cry when my son would cry. I cried wearing a bra and when showering. So if I can't physically feed this baby I have no issue going to formula just to keep our sanity and for us to be normal.

Im choosing not to breastfeed, my first child was formula fed and so I'm choosing to formula feed my second too. Honestly it is up to you and what your most comfortable. Price wise breastfeeding is cheaper and if you are wanting to pump, some insurance companies will provide you with a pump. If you formula feed it can get expensive unless your on WIC and can get formula for free. My first went through about 10 cans a month (the small cans that cost about 16 dollars) either way you chose your baby will get the food it needs to grow and that's all that matters.

It will never be as good, but it's not bad!! There are certain things in breast milk that they will never be able to replicate, such as antibodies. But formula is still the next best thing for baby and lots of mothers choose it!! Either way works, I think!!

You have to be really careful of sugar content in formula. Much of what's sold in the US has sugar additives with gmo corn. Some brands are better than others.
