Anyone have a vba2c?

I am looking to actually try a vaginal birth. If you have at least tried let me know how you got your doctor to agree and how it went. My second doctor wouldn't even let me try for a vbac and I'm very angry now I'm expecting my 3rd and want to try but I actually want the support of my doctor.

You have to find yourself a VBAC supporting doc. There are only 2 in my city. Just Google "VBAC doctors in 'city' " and a list should come up for you. I attempted a VBAC with my 2nd and my only advice is to decline interventions. We all get antsy at the end of our pregnancies and just want the baby OUT and I think that's where some of is get into trouble.  I agreed to a membrane strip @38 weeks because I was having some mild contracrions, wasn't getting sleep etc. It immediately put me into labor which led to pitocion and this and that - just one intervention after another. My VBAC failed and in my heart I believe it's because I didn't just let my body progress when it was ready to progress. That's my best advice - best of luck to you! 😘

I’m attempting vba2c and all I did was go for my first appointment and say hey doc this is what I want to try and she said okay and I said you do know I e had two csections right and she said yea I know and I support you.

I’m on my 3rd baby and trying for a vba2c as well. I went to a regular OB with my first baby (emergency csection), and then switched to midwives who practice at a hospital for my second pregnancy. I tried for a Vbac but it eventually failed and ended up having another emergency csection. I thought for sure this baby would have to be a csection as well, but my midwives totally support my decision to give labor a try. They said a big part of this is because of my history—both my csections were due to factors that had nothing to do with my body’s ability to birth a baby. (First was due to a prolapsed cord, second was baby didn’t handle contractions well.) So, I’m hopeful! But obviously I’ll be delivering at a hospital in case we do need to go in for another csection.

I’ve been researching about it too. This is my third pregnancy and this time I don’t have gestational diabetes but baby is a big baby even though I haven’t gained much, he’s taking in all the weight lol.

you need a midwife a doctor wont do it. meeting my first maybe midwife on the 27th. hunting til i find someone I like.

yeah there is no epidural no inducement no encouraging the speed of the labor you have to start labor on your own. etc etc. im excited for it my husband wants to kill me.
