D&C and waiting for period?

I had my D&C yesterday and my doctor never mentioned waiting until my next period to TTC. (Although I didn't ask) Just wondering what the reasons are for waiting. Thanks!

My dr told us to wait two cycles do that they could properly date it. We had one and are trying. There's really no reason to wait if you are emotionally healed.

Was told to wait at least one so the lining of the uterus can thicken again

My doctor told me I could try again after one cycle but waiting three is advisable because it gives you time to regulate again. I'm waiting the one and then TTC again. My heart has a hole too big, and although I can't fill it I need my family to make my heart bigger so the hole doesn't feel so huge 💔
