What would you do?

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and have been spotting brown blood for 2 weeks. Last night I had some red blood and a small clot (the size of a grain of rice) and since then, back to brown. This morning I'm having mild cramping. I called my doctor as soon at the office opened and she's not in today, so they had me leave a message with the medical assistant and said she would get back to me within the hour. I'm really concerned about my baby and it's been well over an hour. Should I wait or go to the ER?

UPDATE: Called again and bugged then like Jessica suggested, they said go to the emergency room. About to leave. Hoping everything is okay. Please keep me in your prayers and/or thoughts.

Call them again and bug them. I don’t think the ER is necessary but let them know you are nervous about it and that you want to be seen today. If they don’t then for peace of mind if you feel you should go to the ER i would. My best friend is pregnant and has had some form of bleeding her whole pregnancy and she is totally fine.

Brown spotting isn't a chase for concern it's normal for some women to spot. Mild cramping is also normal in pregnancy and lasts throughout the whole time. If you bleed red get more clots or feel severe cramping or all 3 then go to the er.
