Braxton Hicks/Contractions without stomach tightening?

Just curious if anyone has experienced this. All day I have had abdominal pains & back pains and only a portion of the time my stomach tightens like a BH or contraction. This is baby #2 for me but I was induced so I don't really know what to expect as far as the beginning stages of labor. My stomach more or less is just very achy and has sharp pains - kind of like my abdomin is bruised all over. :/
