Hospital bag?

When should I realistically pack my bag for the hospital? And any tips on what to pack? 
I’m currently 33weeks 5 days

I started packing at 4 weeks and slowly added stuff as time went by.  A few things aren’t in the bag yet like things I use daily but that’s it.  I packed the diaper bag for baby to.  For baby I just put diapers, wipes, 3 pairs of clothes including coming home outfit, mittens, socks, hat, bow, swaddle blanket, and hand sanitizer.

I packed mine at 34 because I’m high risk for early delivery. I think packing by 35-36 should be fine. The biggest thing is that it’ll get more and more exhausting and daunting to complete these tasks as you near your due date! You might just feel better knowing it’s done. Worst comes to worst, you go to the hospital without a bag and they have everything you need there anyways!

I highly recommend taking dark pyjamas bottoms to wear in hospital, slippers or easy to put on shoes or some sort because hospital floors can be really nasty, nipple cream/nursing pads, and maternity pads for yourself (double what you think you’ll actually need so you don’t have to worry about restocking). Also, don’t forget a hair brush and phone charger (I forgot both and had to get my sister to bring them 😬)

I’ll be packing my hospital bag at 25 weeks. I’m currently 24 but have been having bad cramps for days. I’ll be bringing a few pairs of comfortable clothes for me, toilet paper, tooth brush, tooth paste, hair brush, some big granny panties, large pads, fluffy socks, camera, snacks. For baby I’m bringing diapers and wipes( not yelling hospital but just in case, a few outfits, hats, mits, socks, a snow suit for coming home, 3 pacis

I had mine packed at least 2 months early with both I'm crazy about having things ready lol but this time I definitely didn't pack as crazy as the first time. I packed comfortable clothes for myself to wear during my stay with some socks and slippers I packed my own pillow and blanket and my toiletries. I also packed some depends and pads in case I get sick of the mesh undies (didn't mind them the first time) I also was scheduled for a c section this time so my stay would most likely be a little longer so I packed 2 different outfits for my baby while I was there in case I wanted to get her dressed at all (probably wont) and 2 outfits of different sizes to bring her home just in case one size didn't fit. I also packed blankets for her (loved having blankets  for my son) and my nursing pillow. I have been in preterm labor since 34 weeks so I also packed my pump in case she came and had to go to the NICU so I could pump.

Chapstick/lip moisturizer is a must. You don’t get to drink or eat anything once your admitted. The only thing they would give me is ice chips 😣 Also, socks! Your feet are gonna get cold. Those are 2 things I forgot and regretted and had to get ASAP!
