When did you put your LO in the crib?

Our LO is 1 month old and dad went back to work this week. We've been keeping him in a bassinet at the foot of our bed as the AAP recommends room sharing for at least the first 6 months, but his poor Dad is getting no sleep at night! 
Just wondering when other parents moved the baby into his or her own room? We have a great video monitor already set up for him, and his room is 2 doors from ours so he wouldn't be far away, but I'm afraid of the increased SIDS risk! 😫

4 weeks. Moved the bassinet first into her nursery so she can get used to sleeping in a new room. I slept in her nursery with her for a week or so and then we just started daytime naps in the crib 2-3 weeks later. She was outgrowing her bassinet anyway. Her room is very close to ours and I have the audio monitor on and watch the video too just to check on her.

Our daughter stayed in her pack n play in our bedroom for the first 6 months as recommended. From there, we moved her to her crib in her nursery.

2 weeks old my son went in his crib in his room

My son never slept in our room. The first 6 weeks we took shifts with him. One of us downstairs with the baby one sleeping. 6-8 weeks I slept in his room in the recliner. 8 weeks he started sleeping alone in his room in his crib and I would get up and walk across the hall to his room if I heard him wake up. He’s 13 months now and sleeps 7:30pm to 8am every night.

We moved my son to his crib in his room at about 4-4.5 months old. He was in a bassinet next to my bed but he was outgrowing it and my husbands alarm would wake him up most mornings at 5:30 am 🤨
We started by getting him to nap solely in his crib through the day and did that for about two weeks until he really seemed comfortable. Then we started nighttime’s. 
We have a video monitor to watch/listen him and I keep it on my bed side table at night so I wake up as soon as he makes a sound.

We did 11 weeks. He’s across the hall from us, we have a snuza monitor, and a baby monitor.

Our plan is to leave the twin guest bed in the nursery (former guest room) and I will sleep in there for the first 3 months or so. Whenever she stops needing constant feedings and it down to only 1 feeding a night.
