Advice for flying with baby?

6 month old baby on 4ish hour flight... does anyone have any tips?... we'll try to feed him during take off and landing to help with ears and bring new toys.. not sure if there's more I can do

Some parents bring ear plugs and candy to pass out to other passengers sitting around you who will potentially be disturbed by your baby. I always found that to be really considerate and nice.

Maybe I’m lucky, but all the flights I’ve been on as a parent and not, I’ve never heard a baby cry for more than 15 minutes straight. Most kids do really well!

We brought ear plugs and only ever gave out a handful at most... people get it. We flew around six months & it was much easier than at 14 months! We nursed on take off & landing & had toys and books to keep entertaining. First time around we did a carrier, second time a stroller.
